A 34-years-old business owner from Kaduna State Mr Habibu Ishaku was taken to a chief Magistrate court for stealing 100 bags of salts and 73 bags of flour.
Mr Habibu has previous records of shop break-in and theft. This time around, he stole goods worth #300,000.
Insp. Chidi Leo who is in charge of the case said that the incidence occurred on Oct. 31 at Sabon Gari Market of the state. He further said that Mr Habibu was caught while trying to steal more goods by a security man in the market.
The magistrate granted Mr Habibu bail in a sum of #200,000, with two sureties to pay the same amount of money each.
The magistrate added that the two sureties must be fully employed and must be taxpayers in the state.
The case has been adjourned till Nov. 27.
