Arsenal losses 4 – 1 at home to Manchester City

Massive loss for the red side as they were thrashed 4 -1 in their home by Manchester City.

Pep Guardiola’s side scored two goals in five minutes with the second from Phil Foden, who looked to be in an offside position, with a deft lob over Runarsson. 3-1.

Gabriel Martinelli could not continue the game due to an injury which Mikel Arteta issued a positive injury update on Gabriel Martinelli, confirming it had nothing to do with the knee problem.

With Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang out of the game and Arsenal not scoring goals in their last games, Manchester City is back into the quarterfinals of the Carabao cup.

Arsenal is now out of the Carabao Cup as it stands.

Next Arsenal faces Chelsea on Boxing day. Not sure what Arteta’s plan is.
