Bella Thorne who costarred in the popular Disney Show, Shake It Up, has criticised the pressure Disney puts on young actors to be perfect.
The 23 year old believes children should watch things that prepare them for the real world. According to her, role models now should be more realistic.
She told Fox News:
“Little kids growing up don’t need to see perfect people. Kids need to see real,”
“There are definitely a lot of pressures in the Disney eye to be so perfect,”
“And I think that’s where Disney in a sense goes wrong because they make their kids seem perfect.”
“That image is very difficult. It’s also never been me,”
“I always just like to do whatever no one else is doing.”
“Kids need to see [what’s] real. They need to see diversity, they need to see [what’s] intriguing.”
Bella Thorne is one of the many former Disney stars who have shed the ‘good girl’ image. She was the first person to make over a million dollars in one day on the adult site, OnlyFans and she has fully embraced herself, as we see on her social media pages.
