Nigeria signs up with the Global Vaccine Alliance Initiative (Gavi) for access to vaccines.
Nigeria also registered for COVID-19 vaccines with the Global Access Program (COVAX) co-led by the World Health Organization (WHO).
The minister of health Osagie Ehanire, announces that Nigeria would receive its first shipment of 20 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine soon.
