TV Legend Des O’Connor Dies At Age 88 After A Fall At His Home

The TV legend who has hosted several Tv shows like; Take your pick, The Des O’Connor Show and Countdown, has been confirmed dead at home, just a week after suffering from a fall at his home.

The Tv legend is survived by his wife, son and four daughters.

De’s agent in a statement said that the legend was admitted in the hospital a week after falling at home in Buckinghamshire. He added that the Tv legend was recovering well and looking forward to going home. But his health suddenly crashed yesterday, and he passed away peacefully in his sleep.

The Tv Legend was born in London. He started hosting shows in the 1950s as a host of ITV show ‘Spot the tune’. He became the host of ‘Countdown’ in 2007, which he hosted alongside Carol Vorderman for two years.

The ultimate entertainer will be missed by family and fans around the world.
